Laywers in Missions - African Advocates Meeting
African Advocates Meeting
Kigali, Rwanda – Legal minds from across the continent convened at the Kigali Convention Centre for the 16th Annual Advocates Africa Conference, a distinguished gathering of Christian legal professionals. From August 12-17, 2025, attendees from 43 African nations have engaged in a robust exchange of ideas centered on the theme, “We are the pleasing aroma of Christ.”
Among the speakers was Allen, who delivered a compelling address on the integration of faith and legal practice, titled "Being a Good Lawyer and a Good Christian." His discourse challenged the audience to embody their faith not merely as a personal creed but as the very essence of their professional conduct, advocating for a legal system that is not only just but also compassionate and reflective of a higher calling. The conference continues to serve as a pivotal platform for raising awareness of emerging legal issues and for fostering a collective commitment to practicing law with integrity and purpose.
